Thank you for your interest in donating books to the library! The Staff and Friends of the Avon Free Library rely on donations for the small ongoing Book Nook in the library and annual book sale during the Avon Corn Festival.
We are happy to accept the following donations:
- Fiction & Non-Fiction Books
- Large Print Books
- Children’s Books
- DVDs
- CDs
- Audiobooks
- Records
- Puzzles
We ask that all donations be in good condition.
We do not accept the following donations:
- Anything dirty, musty, moldy, or containing mildew
- Encyclopedias
- Dictionaries
- Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
- VHS Tapes
- Textbooks
Donations can be brought to the Information Desk at the Avon Free Library during normal business hours. Tax receipts are available at the desk. If you have more than a few boxes to give, please make arrangements through books4avonfriends@yahoo.com.
