Safety and Accessibility
The current gravel parking lot behind the library poses many challenges, including safety and accessibility.
Grading and paving the parking lot will provide:
- Accessible parking spots with access aisles for individuals with wheelchairs or mobility devices
- An appropriately graded space that will improve safety and is beneficial for wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers
- A widened drive leading to the parking lot, allowing for two-way traffic in and out of the lot
- Over 25 properly marked parking spaces
